Mohammad Abdullah Ahmad, the Egyptian researcher, wrote anessay under the title "The Worried Intelligentsia" which is an approachtackling the internal questions that the Arab elite live; also, it tackles the changes that have occurred in the international situation, which the neo-liberalism in the West has expressed via a set of concepts and theories that justify submission.

According to the writer's analysis, those epistemological questions seem to be a lucid and screaming translation for the post-colonial period.
