Abstract EN

The present study aims at demonstrating the effectiveness of the semiotic analysis of contemporary Arabic prose poetry.

We have concentrated our efforts on studying the collection of poems Yabous by the Jordanian poet and critic Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Wahch.

We have tried to adopt a semiotic analysis of the collection titles and their relationship to textual thresholds.

The following study attempts to measure the effectiveness of semiotics in reading poetic texts and interpreting titles.

We will also try to examine the subject of ambiguity in the language of contemporary Arabic poetry through titles so as to reveal the ability of poetic language to transcend contemporary linguistic methods that have developed their tools from sources other than the Arabic framework of literary criticism.
