Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing contemporary teaching strategies by teachers of Islamic education in Gaza Governorates and its development ways.

A questionnaire was used as a tool to gather information, which was administered to a sample of (78) Islamic education teachers.

The results revealed that the degree of the practicing contemporary teaching strategies by teachers of Islamic religion education was low with a relative weight of (44.05%).

There were statistically significant differences in the degree of practicing contemporary teaching strategies by teachers of Islamic religion education due to gender variable in favor of mal teachers, and the variable of the governorate in favor of Alwostah Governorate, and there were no statistically significant differences due to the qualification variable.

The researchers recommended holding training courses for supervisors of Islamic religion education to train them to employ modern strategies.
