Abstract EN

Arabic linguistic records, especially, dictionaries, were majorly concerned with collecting Arabic lexicons through finding out their linguistic origins and word stems.

This has occurred in an attempt to preserve the authenticity of Arab language of intermingling or mixing with words of other languages.

Thus, Arab linguists tried to exclude anything wearied or strange from Arabic.

They identified many words as foreign to their language.

This identification was based on excluding the Arab traits from foreign words according to many criteria such as rhythm or letters collations.

This research is an attempt to trace word structures that were known as non-Arabic (not found in Arabic language) with an analysis and classification of these structures in order to find out the reasons of their exclusion from Arabic.
