Abstract EN

The Foreign Direct Investment is considered as an important source of financing the development in the Arab countries.

So, it works to raise the rate of economic growth, increase productivity and employment, technology and expertise and administrative transfer.

In addition, it works to support the export power, investment and industrial strategies in the Arab countries.

All these advantages do not come automatically, but rather must provide the environment to provide the appropriate investment environment to attract foreign direct investment.

The most important results obtained in this study are the emergence of the influence by foreign direct investment to the Arab foreign trade (exports and imports).
