In the international competition in the African continent in general and the African coast, in particular, the major Powers sought for France to rebuild its relations with the countries of the region to maintain its status and influence in former colonies by relying on new mechanisms of in support of development in the region as a peaceful means to solve the intractable crises and achieve peace in the region.This leads us to ask the following questions:What is France's role in addressing the security and political problems in the Sahel ? Has France, through its military intervention in most Sahelian countries, achieved security in the region or contributed to the destruction of the infrastructure of the African nation?
