Abstract EN

Wargilan is considered as the second capital of the Ibadhits in the middle Maghreb after the collapse of Tiahrt .It was the legal heir after the ibadhits transformed their traditions and because of the burning of the library of Elmasoma.

Its leaders were traders specialized in gold and slavery.

They controlled in from the north to the south far from the political struggles in the north, this contributed in security and stability.

It was the area of the ibadhit scientists, one of them was Mohamed ben bakr, he was a guide and teacher, a sender of new movement in religion by new system –halka azaba- he worked on the edition of this system in many parts of wargilen.

Halka azaba sparked the flame of the scientific movement in wargilen contributing to the improvement of the intellectual level of the intellectuals of Halka azaba activity was the answering to the opponents and the intellectual struggle between the different doctrines and parts after they got a huge background as a consequence, great names emerged in the art of speech like abou abbes ahmed ben Mohamed ben bakr, abou amar abd elkafi, abou yakob yousef elwargilani, abou omar otman essoufi.
