With the increasing dependence on electronic cards, the Algerian legislator sought to protect the various types of electronic cards usage.

One of the widely used cards in Algeria is CHIFA cards that help the insured to benefit from the curative services.

This card has been particularized with a number of specific rules along with the previousely mentioned texts in the penal code, that criminalize all sort of frauds committed through this card
