Abstract EN

The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of using the E-Learning as mean of introducing the content of an undergraduate course titled (English 102) for Al-Balqa Applied university students.

For that purpose, a sample of 151 male and female students was chosen and was randomly divided into groups, the experimental group comprised 51 students, while the control group comprised 50 students.

The study answered the following questions: 1) what is the effect of using the E-learning on the students achievement on the course “English 102” Al-Balqa Applied university students? 2) What is the effect of the interaction between the teaching approach and gender on the students achievement? The result of this study showed that there were statistical differences in teaching using English course at (α≤0.05) related to the teaching method.

The result also showed that there were no statistical differences in the students achievement related to the interaction of teaching approach, and the gender.
