The study aimed to analyze the science book for grade IV by using pictures, drawing and tables the study population consisted of a book of science to second grade basic edition in 2014.

The sample Vtkont of the unit animals from the book of science to second grade primary using descriptive analytical approach- the content analysis meted and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers built a list of criteria placed on the agenda is a ladder estimate numbers for each of the drawing, images and tables.

Been confirmed validity and reliability of the tool and the study found the following results: the criteria (titles, image suitable site with concept, density formats, clarity, and realistic) got a high degree.

And size, adequacy number, clarita of colors attractive colors got low degree.

The researchers recommended the need to reconsider the clarity of colors in the pictures drawings in the book, making book size is greater than it is.

Increase the number of images, and conduct an analytical study of the images and graphics formats and in other science books and conducting experimental studies on the effect of images, graphics and shapes offered by the teacher in science in a number of dependent variables and the involvement of designers in the specialty of educational technologies in the selection of images, shapes and graphics in order to develop or re- printed.
