This article aims to draw the common borders between dimensions of the storytelling strategy process as a distinctive, modern and productive method of learning, and employing the power of imagination, which is considered as more important than knowledge.
The study presents characteristics of storytelling and limps on its objectives that the foremost one is the development of imagination.
Then, it focuses on how to use imaginative mind in the context of the story, and how imagination appears in two major patterns: sensual and hypothetical.
Furthermore, it investigates how storytelling correlates with different stages of imagination growth, and how it can invest the imaginative power and others educational goals more than those in storytelling.
Finally, research confirms that investigating in imagination exceeds the stimulation of creative ability to being reflected in the performance of several specific educational skills, and that the possibility of adopting this strategy in order to develop imagination has become more than a necessity in our modern educational system.
