Abstract EN

The present study aimed to detect the relationship of happiness to the psychological adaptation and job satisfaction among administrator staff of Philadelphia University The study population consisted of all administrative staff at Philadelphia University for the academic year of 2015- 2016.

For the purposes of collecting information, the researcher used the happiness scale (Saleh, 2013), the psychological adaptation scale (Gabriel, 1996), and the job satisfaction scale (al-Khasawneh, 2000).

To answer the study’s questions the following statistical processors were conducted: The percentages of the characteristics of the study sample, multiple analysis of variance (MANOVA) ,one-way analysis of variance "test of sheveh", and Pearson correlation coefficient.

The results of the study showed a significant relation between happiness, and the degree of psychological adaptation and job satisfaction among the staff of Philadelphia University.

The study recommended the employment of instructional programs that illustrate the impact of happiness on psychological adaptation and job satisfaction for local community institutions The study also recommended training the staff on the acquisition of skills that help them elevate the level of feeling happiness, problem solving, dealing with stress, and ways to transact positively.
