Abstract EN

This study aimed at analyzing the effect of the motivating employees dimensions in organizational citizenship behavior of a set of commercial banks in north of Jordan which are : (Cairo Amman bank, Jordanian commercial bank, and the housing bank.

The study instrument comprised a questionnaire which was distributed using the relatively simple random sampling that consisted of (26) items, where (158) questionnaires were collected back from community study that consisted of the employees in the mentioned commercial banks who were (3800) employees.

The most important results of the study showed that the employees motivation with all dimensions has appositive effect on organizational citizenship behavior, while there was a weak effect for integration dimension between the employee life and work in organizational citizenship behavior, also, the study showed that there was an effect especially for the compensations dimension in achieving all dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior due to salaries presented by those banks, while there was no effect for training and development, integration between employee life and work, and empowerment, in polite behavior , and a tendency towards participation and responsibility dimensions.

The researcher recommended that there is a need to support the importance of increasing awareness among managers with the benefits that achieved by integration between the employee life and work, and providing programs that meet the needs of the employees such as sports or recreational or cultural programs aimed to creating a sense of safety and comfort, in which the employee renew the action and the positive behavior for the organization, in addition to giving the opportunity in showing the employees ideas through motivating the concept of empowerment, so those who have experience and high qualifications can participate in presenting suggestions.
