Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the impact of a computer-based instructional program on learning some motor skills in the artistic gymnastics for men.

The researcher used the semi-experimental approach due to its compatibility to the study nature.

The study sample was selected in the intentional way.

The study sample consisted of 30 students from the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Mu'tah University who are enrolled in the course of gymnastics (1) for the first semester of the academic year 2016/2017, and then they were divided into two groups; the experimental group which consisted of (15) students who applied the computerized educational program and the control group which consisted of (15) students and applied the regular educational program.

The researcher used the statistical methods of arithmetic means, standard deviation as well as t-test.

The study results showed that there are statistically significant differences with regard to the post-test between the experimental group and the control group in favour of the experimental group.

In the light of the study results, the researcher recommends about using the computer-based educational program due to its positive impact on the ability to learn as well as stimulating the motivation of students and saving a lot of time and effort.
