أثر برنامج تعليمي قائم على نموذج مكارثي (4 MAT)‎ في التحصيل و اكتساب المفاهيم العلمية و الاتجاهات العلمية في مادة الأحياء لدى طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي في الأردن

Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the impact of using an instructional programme based on Mccarthy Model (4 mat) onachievement, acquisition of scientefic concepts, and scientific attitudes in biology among the eleventh grade female students in jordan.

Thesubjects of study consistedof 55 eleventh-grade students(27 in experimental group and 28 as control group) at Een Ghazal School of Rusaifah Directorate Of Education .To achieve the purpose of the study ,the following study instruments were applied(pre-post) : an achievement test,ascientific attitude measurement, andsemi-constructed interviews.To analyze the quantitive dataone-way (ANCOVA) was used,and to analyze the qualitative data the reasercher prepared, arranged, and use dcoding data.

The results of the study showed that there is a significant statistical difference in favor of the experimental group in achievementand scientific attitudes.

The resultsalso showed that there is a positive development in theacquisition of scientefic concepts among students in the experimental group.

In the light of these results, the study has recommended to use the intructional programme based on Mccarthy model (4 MAT).
