فاعلية استخدام نموذج مارزانو لأبعاد التعلم في تنمية التحصيل و بعض عادات العقل في مادة الرياضيات لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي

Abstract EN

This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of using marzano’s dimensions of learning model in the development of achievement and some habits of mind in mathematics for the sixth grade primary.

The research sample consisted of (68) students of 6th grade in Ali Mobarak primary school, in Ismailia governorate, in two groups : The experimental group consisted of (35) students, and the control group consisted of (33) students.

To achieve the aims of the research, the researcher prepared : student book and Teacher’s guide based on Marzano’s model for dimensions of learning, and achievement test to measure the cognitive achievement and another to measure some of mind habits.

The results of the research showed that, there were statistically significant differences at the level of (a = 0,05) between the means of the experimental group and the control group on the achievement test, and a scale of mind habits for the experimental group, and there is a significant positive correlation between the achievement and habits of mind in mathematics favoring the experimental group that utilized marzano model of learning.

In the light of these results, some suggestions and recommendations are cited.
