أثر التعرض لمواقع التواصل الاجتماعي على قيم الريفيات بمحافظة الشرقية : دراسة ميدانية

Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the correlation between repetition of social media use and family political, educational, and religious values.

The researcher uses media survey method by applying a questionnaire on a sample of 400 female villagers in Sharqia.

The study yields the following results: 1: The majority of respondents are exposed to social media alone 91.9 % , 58.1% of them are exposed in the evening of ( 5-10 women ) , 79.7% from respondents are exposed every day , and 48.3% are exposed to social media from ( 1-3 hours) aday .

2: Independent variables are correlated significantly with the value of family cohesion the most inspirational variables was : the age of the wife in question - the education of the person in question - the job of the person in question - repeated exposure to social media.

3: Positive political values generally , but they are more clear with regard to participation in elections , and it is less clear with regard to participation in parties.

4: Exposure to social media it has negative effect on there social values of the respondents , this is negative effect increases with repeated exposure .

5: Repeated exposure of the respondents to these sites has a negative impact and this is inconsistent with the high religious values of the respondents which is due to the other sources not covered in the study such as : ( Family - Mosque - Specialized religious channels , other sources)
