Abstract EN

The Evian Agreements of 18 March 1962 between the FLN and the French Government stipulated the entry into force of the cease-fire agreement on mid- March 19, the transitional period ending with the organization of the Constituent Assembly elections within there months and the transfer of powers to the independent Algerian State.

The difficulty of the difference between the leaders of the Algerian revolution in the Tripoli meeting in the summer of 1962, on the second item on the agenda of the sixth session of the National Council of the Algerian Revolution, concerning the election of members of the Political Bureau of the National Liberation Front.

The Algerian revolution, however, imposed a certain silence on the old and continuing differences between the leaders of the revolution.
