This study is intended to highlight the main role played by the Egyptian and Tunisian journey in opening up to Europe during in the 19th century by focusing on the trips of Rafaa El-Tahtawy, Mohamed El-Tantawy, Mohamed Amin Fikri Bek in Egypt, Khair El-Din El-Tunisi, Ahmed Ibn Abi El-Diyaf and Mohamed Birm.
It includes a nearly comprehensive and detailed description of the various sides of developed life in Western countries.
In addition to the explanations and intellectual analysis of the reasons for the difference between the life system of European communities visited by travelers on the one hand and the environment they came from on the other hand.
