Abstract EN

Coclusion Mosul is an old city well known in ancient history.

It was inhabited by anomber of prophets,and wel charactarised the existence of the ancient Assyrian city of Nineveh with its precious ruins, it can be seen by air with clear boundary in the east sector(left sector) of Mosul.

Modern life with new buildings surrounded the old city and some times crossing over the boundary.

Visitors to mosul are allways impressed by the mixture of the old and modern features.

In 2014 when the terrorist invaded Nineveh province has destroyed most of the province features the old and modern.

inThis paper we will focus on the old Assyrian city of Nineveh to show and assess the huge destruction to the hystorical ruins by comparing through pictures taken before and after invation.
