أثر برنامج التمرينات العلاجية فى الماء لتأهيل أطراف المصابيين بالشلل الدماغي التشنجي من (3-13)‎ سنه بولاية الخرطوم

Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the impact of a therapeutic exercise program under water for the rehabilitation of children who suffer from spastic cerebral palsy within the age of (3-13) years in Khartoum state.

The program helps in developing musuclar strength and improving motor skills and functionality to the greatest possible degree.

The program was implemented in real life to observe real time results.

The study population consisted of 44 children with cerebral palsy in Dar Shishir Physical therapy center.

A purposive sample of the population suffering from cerebral palsy spastic in the age range of (3-13) years were selected (9) children.

Data was collected and processed statistically using the arithmetic mean, standard deviation and t-test.

The results of the study have shown improvements in the functionality of the joints and muscles (arms and legs), and improvement in both power and flexibility of the limbs.

It is highly recommended to take advantage of water’s chemical and phycicalproperties for facilitating rehabilitationprograms for patients with cerebral palsy.
