Abstract EN
The aim of this study was to identify the actuality of professional competencies- academic and professionalcompetencies and ethics value commitment.of the profession.the researchers used the descriptive method.
Purposive sample of (75) students (male & female) was purposively selected from 4th level studentsin El Gazira university colleges of education, Data was collected through a questionnaireprepared by the researchers.
Descriptive and nonparametricstatistic were used to analyze data.
Analysis was accomplished the (SPSS)packages.
The study results affirmed the non-suitability and goodness of the sample academic preparation for teaching geography and their success in auguring the ethical values necessary in teaching.
