Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the role of inservice training program in improving and developing French language teaching in Secondary schools.

The researchers: used the descriptive method.

The research sample included (31) teachers of French language for secondary schools in Khartoum locality.

A questionnaire was used to collect data.

Results confirmed that the used training programs for French teachers in secondary schools have clear and specific goals.

The content to related to goals of the program.

There are many methods used in the training of French language teachers in secondary schools.

the radio and black board are the main means used in students training The training program for French language teachers play a main role in improving and developing the teaching of French language.

One of the most important recommendations is to increase the duration of the training courses.

The study suggested some future studies, including the evaluation of the French language teacher program in the secondary stage.
