Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the performance competences for computer usage among postgraduate students for M.

Ed degree (Educational Technology) at Sudan University of Science and Technology.

The study used the descriptive method, and the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data.

The study population consisted of students of M.

Ed.

(Educational Technology) 6th and 7th batches, amounting (50) males and females who are students of Sudan University of Science and Technology.

The study sample was selected from the total study population.

The data was analyzed through descriptive and nonparametric Statistics and the analysis was accomplished through the SPSS Software.

The study found that: Competences relating to computer culture and Internet and its applications are highly to moderately available among students of M.

Ed.

in education technology.

Efficiencies relating to dealing with computer operation systems and computer viruses are moderately available among the students.

Competences relating to dealing with computer programmers and applications are highly -to- weakly available among the students
