Astrology is regarded as one of the most ancient dark and backstage sciences.

It is the base of all other magical systems and one of the ancient most mysterious and puzzling sciences for it is formed out of various and different sciences.

Within astrology, astronomy, time calculation and mathematics were emanated.

The task of astrology in ancient times was observing the motions of planets and stars as well as forecasting the incidences of lunar eclipse, solar eclipse and reading the people's future.

The priests was monopolizing this ancient science; therefore, they thought that the sky stars were ruling the fates and destinies of kings an peoples, thus the rulers needed them in administering their projects and taming the people on submission and obedience.

The first population of Mesopotamia were the masters of the world in astrology from whom other countries took the science.

At the appearance of Islam, the Muslims had scientific and religious motives to be interested in astronomy, they needed to know the stars and follow them as well as defining the prayers times and the qibla and crescent vision.
