Abstract EN

The era of the Saljuks is one of the most important eras in which social and political relations merged with multiple powers throughout the Saljuk state either through peaceful dependency or war was to marriages' prominent role in the integration of the Saljuks and their association with the Abbasid Caliphate, neighbouring rulers , neighbors, as well as marriages among themselves.The times of Saljuks saw many events that are not covered, but little research, and these events are related to the social aspect, such as marriages.That is the reason why I wanted to highlight that point in the life of Saljuk State.

This research entitled with (Marriages in the Saljuks' Era (447-590h / 1055- 1194m ) has been done for that purpose .

The aim of the research is to unveil those marriages , motives, and not, as decided by the Islamic law that marriage is to build a new family based on love and compassion,but rather those marriages, in essence, affinity interest based on a desire to seize the country and the acquisition of one of the cities, or control of the country and public opinion, or try to strengthen melt, or closer to the Abbasid caliphs and to be honoured by their marriages.

This research has four sections and a conclusion.

The first section is about Marriages of Saljuks with the Abbasid Caliphate.

The second one,on the other hand, deals with Marriages of Saljuks with each other, while the third section devoted to Marriages of Saljuks with the accused and their leaders and princes, and in the fourth section I dealt with the Marriages of Saljuks with neighboring powers.The conclusion includes the key findings of the research
