Abstract EN

This study attempts to highlight the importance of the governance of the public sector and the impact of the Public sector governance to the GDP growth rate in the Jordan as a case study.

To achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher used standards that have been developed by global international organizations.

The focus was on the standards that have been developed by the World Bank and is six criteria (Voice and Accountability, Political Stability and Absence of Violence / Terrorism, Government Effectiveness, Regulatory Quality, Rule of Law), and find out the status of Jordan within these Standards .

Proper statistical analyses were used to analyze the results.

The result revealed that the quality of legislation is in an advanced level, but the problem lies in the application of this legislation
