Abstract EN
The aim of this study is to highlight the basic concepts of the process of securitization and Islamic securitization, with the identification of the most important products and the difference between them, by answering the following key question: What is the difference between securitization and Islamic securitization? What are their main products?.
The study concluded that the process of securitization and Islamic securitization is similar in that they allow the conversion of certain assets into subordinated securities in the secondary financial market, and differ in that the process of Islamic securitization is limited to the transfer of assets in kind and benefits to securities, according to the controls of legitimacy, while securitization includes the process of converting debt into negotiable bonds at certain interest rates and without legitimate controls
