Strategic vigilance is one of the new methods of modern management.

It contributes to bringing together organizations from different stakeholders.

The importance of adopting a system of vigilance and auditing in the process of monitoring the organization's environment to ensure greater control of the information system has been highlighted.

The Customs Department, in view of the development of the national economy and the emergence of new roles for the Department, is currently seeking to invest in the resources available to it, focusing on its recent modernization program on information technology, which has attached great importance.

In this study, we found that modernizing customs administration to meet the requirements of strategic vigilance requires concerted efforts to achieve the established objectives.

In order for the customs establishment to play its proper role in a market economy, it must overcome the problems and difficulties it faces, including the lack of means and means to enable customs agents to perform their duties to the fullest.
