Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the extent of the involvement of the history textbook for the 12th grade at secondary schools in Somalia in terms of the presentation of the content, figures & diagrams, and educational activities contained in the book.

The author followed the analytical descriptive method and used Romy's Equation to find out the degree of the involvement.

The results of the study revealed required level of the involvement in terms of presentation of the content with coefficient (0.56), the degree of involvement in terms Figures & diagrams in the book is low with coefficient (0.3) likely the activities are less than the required level of the involvement with coefficient (0.15).

The study recommended reorganization and printing the book in order to achieve effective involvement, consistent with the nature of the grade and evaluating the rest of the history textbooks at the secondary grade to determine the extent of their involvement .
