The symbol in the language is to refer to a relative close to you by a Up or a brow (and the origin of the hidden words that can not be understood and then used until the signal became, poets have resorted to the use of the artistic symbol to express the idea or poetic image in general and the ambiguity of spiritual content to express Thus, the symbol is a means to evoke and realize wrhat can not be invoked by other graphic means, and the poets of Iraq in general have turned to the symbol, including the poets of the people of the House (p) Thus, the symbol - the legend and the mask The poets of Iraq in general tended to symbol and poets of the people of the House (A) Thus, the symbol - the myth and the mask - effective elements in the structure of the modem poem as it had an inpact on the structure of the old poem although not the same names, and perhaps for the richness of art and intellectual The poet can express his contemporary experience.

The definition of the poetic symbol can be summed up in a general sense as: something that suggests something else: the first: visible or sensual, called form or image, and the other: absolute, hidden or spiritual, and sometimes absolute, inspired by a report.

Here the symbol may not be definitive, because it can depict a mysterious infinite thing frequented in the shadows of the soul, portraying everything that is unstable and clear.

The nature of the research necessitated that it consist of a preface in which the researcher will deal with the language.

The first topic included the applications of the symbol in poets poetry research and the second section in which the research dealt with the poems that were said in Al-Bayt to the poets of research.
