Abstract EN

This research deals with the study of historical position of Armenians about the Crusades for the period (489-500 A.H./1095-1106A.D.).

It has been disclosed the Armenian position about the Crusaders in the Cilicia region and its important cities, which was most of the Armenian population.

And also it has been detected over the cooperation they have extended to the crusader forces against the Seljuk Turks, where these regions were once of a major struggle between the Byzantine state and the Seljuk Turks.

This study also shows the Armenian position on the cities of Tarsus, Adana, Mopsuestia .the extent of cooperation and the services provided to the Crusaders as well as the position of Armenian Emirates in the country of Upper Mesopotamia, which was once an intimate relationship with the Crusaders that helped them to expand their influence in the region.

This study also shows the Armenian position in the Emirate of Antioch Crusader, who have had the great favour of toppling that city to the crusaders.
