The research aims to identify the impact of useing the discussion method in teaching philosophy of physical education course Cognitive achievement and the spiritual Intelligence in students teachers at the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys , Alexandria University.

Useing experimental method for its suitability to the nature of the research , applied on a sample of ( 60 ) student of fourth year students of specialty teaching at the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys - Alexandria University , Has been divided into two equal groups ,the first experimental group for applying the method of discussion which consisted of (30) student , A control group applied the normal way (the way of lecture ) and consisted of (30) student , Use the spiritual intelligence for students teachers in Faculty of Physical Education (Prepared by researchers ) and cognitive achievement test with the decision of the philosophy of physical education Prepared by researchers ) , the most important results: that the use discussion method in Teaching Philosophy of Physical Education has a positive effect on Cognitive achievement and the spiritual Intelligence in experimental group , The use of the lecture method in Teaching Philosophy of Physical Education has a positive effect on Cognitive achievement and the spiritual Intelligence to the control group , And that the rates of improvement in the Cognitive achievement and the spiritual Intelligence in experimental group is higher than the control group , The measure of spiritual intelligence for Teachers of Physical Education Physical Education consists of five axes are ( awareness , truth , grace , excellence, meaning ) total (44 ) sentences is (Prepared by researchers ) , Cognitive achievement test with the decision of the philosophy of physical education for students of the fourth year test specialty teaching physical education consists of (100) paragraph choice of multi- system (Prepared by of researchers ) , The researchers recommended that the use of the way the debate in Teaching Philosophy of Physical Education and similar courses for students of the fourth year of teaching specialization , As well as the need to use the IQ test spiritual intelligence for students teachers at the Faculty of Physical Education , and cognitive achievement test with the decision method of the philosophy of physical education (Prepared by researchers ) For further studies concerning student teachers faculties of Physical Education, And the need for further studies to gain access to the best ways to Teaching Philosophy of Physical Education and similar courses.
