The research aims to identify the relationship between the teaching performance competency and Critic Thinking for students teachers in the Faculty of Physical Education for Men- Alexandria University, also aims to determine the contribution of Critic Thinking in the teaching performance competency of students teachers in the Faculty of Physical Education for Men, Alexandria University.
The researcher used the descriptive method for its suitability to the nature of the research.
The community of the research included (165) students teachers in the fourth year (specialized in teaching) - Faculty of Physical Education for Men, Alexandria University- in the academic year 2014/2015.
The sample of the research included (126) students by (76.36%) of the size of community.
The exploratory study was conducted on 19 students from within the research community and outside the main sample, while the main study was conducted on 107 students.
The researchers used the Form of performing competency of teaching (prepared by Taha Sobhy,T.
and Mohsen Mohammed ,S, 2015).It included (45) statements distributed on five axes.
The researchers used the scale of critic thinking of Ezoo Afana (1998), which is a self-report consists of (18) statements covered five main axes, The most important results were: the existence of a positive correlation between the teaching performance competency and Critic Thinking for students teachers in the Faculty of Physical Education for Men- Alexandria University, Critic Thinking contribute in the performing competency of teaching for the students teachers in the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Alexandria University.
The researchers recommended conducting further studies of the Critic Thinking for students teachers of Faculties of Physical Education, in addition to working on raising the level of performing competency of teaching for students teachers in the Faculties of Physical Education by including the Critic Thinking in the Physical Education programs.
