Abstract EN

This study aims to monitor the representations of Algerian identity in several novels, and stand on the multiple dimensions because of the historical extension of the Algerian nation in North Africa, which contributed to the formation of different components, whether at the level of race, language or religion.

In the light of absorbing the Amazigh component of the rest of the cultural components that interact with him .The analysis revealed the existence of general cultural patterns that characterized the Algerian self by special characteristics depending on the specificity of each historical stage.

It also followed the formation of the concept of identity
