Abstract EN

The United Nations General Assembly convened the Millennium Summit in September 2000, therefore the eight aims were set up to address the three dimensions of sustainable social, economic and environmental development, In view of the importance of these goals, Algeria established three successive development programs.

The last of these programs was known as the five-year plan, which was budgeted as the largest in the history of Algeria.

In this study we will attempt to present the national efforts carried out in the five-year plan (2010-2014) and evaluate the results of the country compared to the social and economic goals of the millennium through national rates and international indicators of measurement.
