Abstract EN

This study attempts to shed light on the path of forming the export development strategy in the developing countries.

In which, it was driven by the global economic transformations; accordingly the adoption of an export-oriented production strategy became a significant necessity for those countries, This study concluded that the implementation of this strategy in developing countries requires the need of diversification within the national economy, and establishment of an effective institutional, legislative and regulatory framework for the underlying strategy, as well as the attention to quality systems, international marketing techniques, export finance and insurance, besides to the establishment of export free zones, providing tax and customs privileges for exports and providing an integrated information system.

The achievement of such results requires the establishment of a formal framework for implementation and follow-up by the government of developing countries, and the need for coordination among them to formulate the appropriate strategy and benefit from the global experience in this area.
