This study aimed to The diagnosis of the training needs for test construction competencies of teachers in the middle school, the study was designed to answer the following question: Does the teachers in the middle school level are need training for test construction competencies؟ The sample of the prospective study consisted of 240 teacher at the Department of Education chosen from Setif, they were administrated a questionnaire to demonstrate the competence of achievement test construction; Included 68 items .

At the same time it helped in the diagnosis training needs of teachers( planning competencies for testing , preparation of the paragraphs of the test and removed, and corrected the test results and analysis competencies .

the findings indicated that the sample subject determined a training need of a relative weight above average.
