Abstract EN

By the end of world war, countries had begun removing effects of the war’s destruction, and started in the building and construction process.

In order to achieve those goals and objectives, different sciences aided the process.

In this context, a lot of concepts emerged, that worked to achieve these goals; including ‘quality’, ‘perfection’, and ‘organizational citizenship behavior’ which means all behavior by an individual to develop his foundation outside the official entrusted with tasks in the framework of his job.

Typically, any individual conducts his citizenship behavior, without any rewards/ or bonuses.

It is worth to mention that Organ used first this term in 1983, and during the past 30 years, the concept had evolved concept and expanded to include a lot of related concepts which sometimes overlap and differntiate in other times.

On the basis of this background, the present paper aims to (1) find out the dimensions that make up the concept of organizational citizenship behavior, (2) know the causes of organizational citizenship behavior, (3) know the consequences of organizational citizenship behaviour, and (4) know the challenges the aforementioned concept.

Through this paper, the author has used a descriptive approach: Content analysis method.

The study has resulted in identifying the multidimensional facts, the factors leading to the said behavior, and both the outcomes and challenges committed the conduct of citizenship organizational behavior.
