Abstract EN

The main concern of this paper is to empirically investigate the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in achieving the citizenship of the enterprise.

Thus, the core question of the study is : What is the role of the CSR in achieving enterprise citizenship through meeting the needs and expectations of the society? To answer this question, we use one of the most important enterprises producing cement in Algeria, as a case study, and compare the enterprise global performance before and after adopting a CSR strategy.

The results of our study clearly show that CSR can have a significant positive impact on promoting enterprise citizenship
