The Frankfurt School )critical theory( is the name given to a group of German intellectuals around the Institute of Social Research founded in Frankfurt in 1923.

In this article, we illuminate an angle, that of the relationship between the critical theory of the Frankfurt School, and these cultural approaches.

Even on these theoretical perspectives of understanding to the historical social movements, and the question of the relation between the social movements and the cultural space apart from the criticism of the instrumental reason and its ultimate domination until these philosophical and sociological approaches of the media and these studies on culture and art.
