Abstract EN

This research is based on exhaustive compilation of the eternal poems said in the battles of the Prophet (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and those poets that composed them.

It touched on the spirit of enthusiasm, determination, concern for the defense of Islam, fight against its opponents and rejoining to all the poems they said to offend the Islamic Da'wah.

The research is composed of two main research sections: First: Poems said to keep up with the Prophetic battles.

Here the research addressed the Prophet's battles and the poems said in their regard in response to the poems of polytheistic poets, where the battle of Badr was the first battle to get the attention of poets.

Then, it was followed by the battle of Uhud, which was characterized by profound amount of poems owing to the events that occurred making the polytheistic poets to exhibit superiority over the Muslims.

That is why the rejoinders of Muslim poets came to silence those poems and expose their defects.

In the battle of the Trench, poetry stood to express the enthusiasm of Muslims and their moral spirit to confront the confederates that came to invade the Muslims but ultimately returned with ill consequence and loss.

During the battle of Mu'tah, the Islamic poetry stood by to boost morals, enhance determinations and refer to the victory or martyrdom in the path of Allah, which was the aim and objective of the Muslims.

Finally, was the Conquest of Makkah, which was indeed a great glad tiding for Muslims and a gateway to spread Islam in that area.

The poets glorified that victory and expressed its greatness and significance to Muslims.
