Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the modern methods of financial analysis, which is one of the methods that allow knowing the financial position of the firm and predicting its future trend with some precision, by trying to apply these methods and compare the results with the results of traditional methods.

Our applied study, was on the Société Algérienned’Assurance (SAA), using a set of statistical methods, namely calculation method using base year, and correlation and regression method, as one of the most used methods.

In spite of the application of the traditional methods of financial analysis to assess its financial position by the firm, and after applying modern methods we found that both lead to the same results that explain the financial situation of the institution in order to assess the past and to chart the financial plans and programs of the institution in the future.
