This article aims to highlight the role of Green Sukuk in financing sustainable infrastructure projects with a view to building a green economy in Algeria, by applying on renewable energies and accompanying technology.

The issuance of Green Islamic Sukuk geared to financing renewable energy projects opens the way to further achievements in the field of green economy in Algeria, which will contribute to a low-carbon economy, at the time when the green economy is considered as a trend of globalization, in which finance is one of the major challenges to sustainable development in general and the green economy in particular.
