Abstract EN

This paper as quantitative research concerned to study the relationship between research and development -independent variable- and economic growth -dependent variable- she uses of statistical data to Algeria during the period between (1990-2014).

We discussed in this paper the concept of research and development - dependent variable- , wish candidate to influence economic growth, and we addressed the development of the theories of interpretation of growth and have learned the importance of modern approaches to the concept of growth - growth theories and rules of origin - with a focus on the modern theories that rely on the technological dimension, and research and development in the propositions .Ought to the model estimated in the case of Algeria, which clarify the quantitative relationship between research and development and economic growth; our goal in this paper is to clarify the quantitative relationship between economic growth, research and development, in the case of Algeria.

And from the results that was run by this paper the presence of a quantitative relationship between research and development and income - as a variable to measure economic growth - in the case of Algeria.
