Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to evaluate the degree of growth and development of financial capital market in Algeria, as well as the extent of its ability to play the expected role within the process of the optimal allocation resources, which is limited to companies and investment project that contribute to the development and prosperity.

We have reach through this paper research that capital market in Algeria is characterised by the low number of listed companies, which has led it to experience a significant recession in its activities and very slow rate of growth along with fluctuations in its transactions performed, which explain the significant decline in its liquidity, and thus it is far away from the effectiveness of capital financial market in achieving economic development.
