Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the degree of effectiveness of the parent's council's in Arab schools in the Negev Region as it seen by principals, teachers and parents.

The descriptive method was used in this study, The study sample consisted of (441) principals, teachers and parents.

A questionnaire was used as a study tool.

The results of the study showed that the degree of effectiveness of parents' councils in Arab schools in the Naqab area as seen by principals, teachers and parents was (low).

The results of the study showed that there were differences of statistical significance due to the difference between the sex variables.

The differences were in favor of females.

As for the variable of school location, the differences were in favor of the city category.

The Researchers Recommend Defining clear Mechanisms and Implementing Continuous and Effective Supervision to achieve real Implementation of the law of parents' councils, and the need for wide Participation of all Parties from ministries, municipalities, institutions, Associations, clergy and local leaders in Carrying out Continuous awareness Programs for the Community that raise the Interest of parents in their councils.
