This paper aims to examine the relationship between public spending and economic growth in Algeria during the period (1970-2011), using the methodology of the cointegration test, error correction model, The results of the study show the existence of a relationship between public spending and economic growth in Algeria in the long run, this with a causal relationship is one of public spending to economic growth.
