Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the level of risk of the Islamic modes of financing and investment from the perspective of workers in Islamic banking.

To know the relative importance of each formula 's risks, the study included an intentional sample of 46 managers of banking branches and directors of financing and investment in Islamic banks in Yemen.

The study concluded that the level of risks of financing and investment in Islamic banks formulas is very high.

But the relative importance of these risks varies from one formula to another.

In the cases of musharaka (participation), mudharaba (speculation) and istisna a (custom order), the risks are very high compared to murabaha formula which had the lowest degree of risk.

Hie study found a number of scenarios that can enable banks to manage these risks including: a focus on personal customers, a feasibility study of the project, the efficiency of the speculator, and the granting of incentives for more work and seriousness.
