Abstract EN

Problem: Identify the extent of exposure of Egyptian adolescents to the issues displayed on the television series and its relationship to their agenda setting.

Significance: The drama is working on bringing about the social change and pushing the community towards the desired progress and development, especially if it is directed to serve its objectives, and the importance of adolescence phase as it is the approach to maturity and comprehensive maturity in all aspects.

Objectives: Identify the impact of the issues nature displayed on the TV series about the status of adolescents’ agenda towards their own issues, Test the degree of homogeneity or discrepancy between the agenda of the TV series concerning their presenting the adolescents’ issues, and Identify the motives of adolescents- the study sample- towards watching the TV series.

Type & Methodology: This is a descriptive study and it used the sample survey approach.

Sample: The study sample is divided into two parts, The analytical study sample for some television series that display the issues of adolescents, and The field study sample which consists of 400 individuals.

Tools: Content Analysis Form, and a Questionnaire.

Findings: The issues discussed by the TV series, the study sample, were characterized by modernism with percentage of 100%, The TV series- the study sample, depend on the slang language with 100%., and The issue of terrorism was at the forefront of political issues with 42.1%.
